National Hanger Co. Help Arts group sends 100 dolls to refugee children

Before the coronavirus pandemic limited travel, a local nonprofit group sent a hundred dolls to children at a refugee camp on the U.S.-Mexico border. Created by the nonprofit itself, Vermont Arts Exchange, the dolls are designed to provide comfort to children in crisis.

National Hanger Co. introduces a new line of thin wooden hangers for more storage space

National Hanger Company (NAHANCO), a manufacturer of retail garment hangers, introduced the SlimLine Wooden Hangers Collection.

According to the company, its wooden clothes hangers are 1/4-inch thick and the thinner design "allows for more clothes to be hung in your closet."

National Hanger Co.: SlimLine Wooden Hangers

National Hanger Co. (NAHANCO) announces its new SlimLine Wooden Hangers collection. The ¼-in.-thick wooden clothes hangers are perfect for tops, bottoms, and coordinating suit pieces.

Because of the thinner design, the slimness of the hanger allows for more garments to be hung per rack, thus allowing for a higher quantity of merchandise to be displayed.

National Hanger president tells town to dance with the one who invited them to the party

You should dance with the person who invited you to the party, was the advice given to the Select Board Monday by the president of a local company that employs 125 people.

Michele Pilcher, president of National Hanger Company, located at 276 Water St. in North Bennington, said at a board meeting that the town would do well to think about the companies that already operate here and give the community character.

North Bennington company gets $227k incentive to create jobs

A North Bennington manufacturer has been awarded a $227,000 financial incentive to create jobs over the next five years.

National Hanger Company is one of seven Vermont companies that have received similar awards for Vermont Employment Growth Incentive for a total of $3.8 million.

National Hanger Company receives job creation incentive from Vermont

A local manufacturer has been awarded a $227,000 financial incentive to bring more jobs to the area over the next five years.

It was announced Monday by the Vermont Economic Progress Council that National Hanger Company, in North Bennington, has qualified for a Vermont Employment Growth Incentive. A total of seven Vermont companies were awarded similar incentives for a total of $3.8 million.
